EVENTS IN DECEMBER
On
Sunday 4th
December at 4.30 pm there will be a ‘Tree
Dressing’ event. Starting at the Village
Hall, we will move to
a ‘tree’ on the Village Green to dress it. This
will be followed by mince pies etc at the Village Hall
and Carol
Bennett will give a short talk on the
‘History of Tree Dressing’.

On Christmas Eve
at 4.00 pm
the Christingle/Crib Combined Service will take place.
All are welcome to collect their Christingles
and refreshments. Later on that evening,
we have our other popular Midnight Service at 11.30
pm at
Nocton to take us into Christmas
Day. <>
Services on
Christmas Day will be held at 8.00 and 11.00am at Branston and 9.30am at Potterhanworth.

NOCTON HALL
At
the November
meeting of the Nocton Parish Council, interest centred on the future of
Nocton
Hall with 10 members and councilors and planning officer.
Many questions were asked but a report from
the surveyor is awaited and an open
meeting will be held post Christmas.
