CONFIRMATION
Thursday
2nd February at 7.30 pm
at St Andrew’s Church, Potterhanworth sees Bishop
John, the Bishop of Lincoln perform a Communion, Baptism and
Confirmation
Service.
Amongst
those being confirmed are Mike and Caroline Boltz, Mike is our
regular organist and both are on the Church Council,
and Amy and Sam Kelly.
We
hope they find the experience fulfilling.
DATES FOR THE DIARY
There
is a Nocton Church Council meeting at 7.30pm
on 15th February at Ruth Eagle’s home.
Friday
3rd March – Women’s World Day of Prayer.
2pm at St
Thomas’ Church, Heighington, the theme is the “Sign of the Times”
prepared by
the women of South Africa.
Saturday
4th March – Coffee Morning at Potterhanworth Church
from 10am -12.30pm. Cake
stall
in aid of Church funds.
THE VESTRY Work
has commenced on our vestry, which was
a bit of a shambles! Malcom Fulop from
Metheringham is doing the work, which includes a new lavatory,
furniture and
carpet. There will be a new glass screen
above the entrance.
The
large red curtain has been taken down for repair and renewal.
We
hope that the works will all be completed by the end of April.
