DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
The Women’s Institute will be serving lunch with a variety of dishes from 12pm-2pm at the Village Hall on Monday 16th February. Tickets £5 each.
The next Coffee Morning will be at the Village Hall at 10.00am on Wednesday 11th February.
The Annual General Meeting of the PCC will be held on Wednesday 15th April 2009 at 7.30pm in the Church. All are welcome.
The Church and Grounds will be the subject of a “Clean-up” day on Saturday 4th April convening at 10.00am. All are welcome.
Easter Sunday (and our traditional Easter Egg Hunt) will be celebrated with the Communion Service on Sunday 12th April at 9.30am.
The PCC met on 14th January and discussed finance, the progress on restoring the wall paintings, improving the lighting in the church and the proposed 2nd World War Memorial.Chris Howard indicated that he would be retiring as Churchwarden at the Church AGM and anyone interested in the position on the electoral roll should attend the AGM.
Save your old newspapersYou can help our local Guides, Brownies and Rainbows by saving your unwanted newspapers. We receive funds for all newspapers we collect for recycling.
If you would like to help, please leave any you have collected in carrier bags on the front door step of the Hewitt’s house – Friars Crag, Main St, Nocton (opposite the school field).
Paula Hewitt will deliver them to Metheringham paper shed each month
