The Open Day...
...on 5 May proved a great success. 130 villagers listened to Carol Bennett and Arthur Hawes, Archdeacon of Lincoln, before progressing to three "unveilings" followed by refreshments.

Special thanks to all who helped led by Cliff Baxendale.
Diary date
Saturday 12 June 2003, 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm, Ralph and Mary Timms will be having an "open garden" at 5 Wray's Yard, The Green, Nocton, to help raise funds for the next twinning visit, when families from Trange come here in April 2004.  Adults £3, children £1.50 and includes light refreshments. There will be a plant and produce stall. Dogs will be admitted on a lead.
Church repairs

David Glew, our architect, assures us that the builders will shortly reappear to finish off the works to the church structure.

In the meantime, the church tower has been cleaned out of all the old bird's nests etc (17 bags full!) and new bird guards have been fixed - more work that one cannot see!
