TEA AT THE OLD VICARAGE

All welcome for sandwiches, cakes and tea with proceeds going to church funds.

We
failed to advertise the excellent ARTS
NK events over the Bank Holiday Weekend at the beginning of May as
regrettably we were unaware it was happening! However, many people
rushed around to ensure a great success our thanks to them.
At
the Annual
Parish Council Meeting held on 6th
May, Mr
T Morris was elected as Chairman and Ms D Wilson as Vice-Chair.
C.Cllr Overton pointed out the Lincolnshire County Council grants are available for social care and social disability, particularly for the young people. For more information call LCC on 01522 782155.
The Lincolnshire Mobile Library has changed visiting times. It now visits every 4th Friday between 12.30pm and 1pm in the Village Hall car park. The next visit will be on Friday 20th June 2008.
Cricket Club
On Sunday 22 June at 2.00 pm, the Cricket Club will be organizing its annual Single Wicket Competition on a knock-out basis. Players are welcome to join in, and spectators to watch, with the all important tea being at about 5.00pm!!
At the PCC meeting held on 28th May, Ruth Eagle was reinstated as Diocesan Synod representative as Chris Hewitt is working away on weekdays.
Some £3,000 had already been paid towards the Parish Share out of the total of £4,666.
Christian Aid Week Total this year was £281.75 pretty good for a small village. Many thanks for your contributions and to the small gang of collectors.
