At
the Annual
Parochial Church Meeting held
on 5th April, Liz Murray and Chris Howard were re-elected as
churchwardens. Mick and Caroline Boltz, Ann Kennedy, Doreen Green were
re-elected and joined by Elsie Horton. Ruth
Eagle was elected as Deanery Synod representative.
The accounts, with profit and loss virtually
in balance, were approved.

performance of Desert Island Discs will be held in the Memorial Hall,
Potterhanworth. The host for the evening
will be the Sue Lawley of Potterhanworth (Martin Long) and his guest
will be
the Bishop of Lincoln. Tickets including
Buffet Supper £5.
Saturdays
13th May and 10th
June – Mission, Evangelism and Growth.
Bishop
David of
Grimsby will lead two workshops at St Hugh’s Church, North Hykeham
between 10.00am and 3.00
pm. Please bring your own lunch, tea and coffee is
provided.
Thursday
25th May – Ascension Day.
A
deanery
celebration of Holy Communion will be held at Bassingham Parish Church
at 7.30 pm.
Sunday
4th June Pentecost Sunday,
Global
Day of
Prayer will be held from 2.00 – 4.00 pm at Lincolnshire Showground. Admission is free but a freewill offering
will be taken. Worship will be led by
Godfrey Birtill and the Treshold Band. Gates
open at 12.30pm. Christians
worried about crime, poverty and ungodliness must be there!
