Tree Dressing Day
The 2nd
Tree Dressing event will be on 4th December on the Green,
and there
will be two creative sessions in the Village Hall on 26th
November
and 3rd December, 10.00am-12.30 pm to make decorations and
adults and
children are welcome.
Remembrance
Sunday
Please note this service is at Nocton and starts with the Royal
British Legion at 10.50 am. There is no 9.30 am service that day at
Nocton.

Nocton will host both the Christingle and Midnight Services.
Nocton PCC
The Church Council meets about five evenings a year. Those in
the parish on the Electoral Roll elect it annually. We are always short
of willing volunteers interested to give a little time to this duty
which helps organise special church occasions, church maintenance and
support various functions within the village including the printing and
distribution of the church magazine. If you are interested in being a
member, please contact either of the Churchwardens.
Nocton Parish Council
Councillors were joined by D Cllr Rose, C Cllr Overton and six
members of the public. To fill the vacancy on the coucil, Mrs D Wilson
was co-opted. The Chairman had given a TV interview following the 17
September fire at the Hall, which was discussed at length. Experts are
to carry out detailed investigations into the asbestos contained in the
buildings on the hospital site. The next meeting will be held on
Tuesday 8 November 2005 at 7.00 pm in the Village Hall.
Table top sale
On Sunday 26 November 2005 2 - 4 pm in the Village Hall. Charge
£5 per table if pre-booked or £6 on the day. Set up from 12.30 pm. For
