HARVEST THANKSGIVING
Was again very well attended. Thanks to all who both decorated the church and worked hard to provide us with an excellent Harvest Supper with lovely Lincolnshire delicacies such as Stuffed Chine and Haslet.
The Harvest supper net proceeds exceeded £200 towards Church funds.

Remembrance Sunday – Sunday 9th November at 9.30am at Nocton. The service will be taken by Revd. Terry Stokes.
BAGS 2 SCHOOL – The schools calendar 2009 is now on sale priced £2.50, available from school or the Nocton Post Office. BAGS2SCHOOL NEXT COLLECTION WILL BE ON Tues 11th November at 9am. We collect old shoes, bedding, curtains, bags, belts and soft toys (no bric a brac). For ex home collections please ring the school on 01526 320234.
The children will be carol singing round the Green on Friday 5th December to spread some Christmas cheer. Thank you for your support.
WI CHRISTMAS FAYRE – Craft Fair at Nocton Village Hall on Saturday 22nd November from 2-5pm. Stalls £7 plus the usual games, cake stalls, tombola and raffle. Refreshments on sale. Santa’s coming as well. For more information contact Philip on 01526 322902 or Peter on 01526 322074.
THE VILLAGE HALL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE are providing another pie, peas & pots Lunch at 12-15 to 1-00 on 3rd Nov. All are welcome.
MIDNIGHT SERVICE on Christmas Eve moves this year to Potterhanworth and instead there will be a short service at 9.30am on Christmas morning. Please come and support.
VILLAGE CAROL SINGING will take place on Saturday 20th December at 5pm which will be followed by a welcome return visit of the Lincoln Choral Society in the church at 7.30pm. More details to follow.
