Harvest Thanksgiving
on 25 September was attended by around 60 people together with 50 attending the Harvest Supper afterwards in the Village Hall.

Thank you very much to those kind ladies who decorated the Church and to those who provided the excellent food. Also for the gifts of food which will be taken to Lincoln Community Larder.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Please note the Concert on Saturday 21st of October. Mike will be playing a range of jazz, classical and pop music with light refreshments and wine included in what promises to be an entertaining evening.

The Quaker Tapestry – there will be an illustrated talk on the Quaker Tapestry held in the Thomas Garrett Heritage Room in Heighington on Friday 13th October at 7.30 pm. This international community project explores three centuries of social history illustrated by 4000 men, women and children from 15 countries between 1981 and 1996. The tickets cost is £4.00 to include light refreshments. Please ring 01526 320054 for more information and to book tickets.

Branston and District U3A – Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 24th October in Branston Village hall at 1.30pm for 2.00pm when Rosanna Benn Dixon will talk to us about Special Editions Chocolate. New members and visitors are always welcome.
