HARVEST THANKSGIVING
Harvest Thanksgiving on Sunday 28 September 2003 at 4.00 pm at Nocton. Following on immediately after will be our Harvest Supper at Nocton Village Hall. Tickets are available for the Supper from Ann Kennedy at £5 for adults and £3 for children. The service is of course free including the seat! But any kindly given Harvest gifts will go to Lincoln Community Larder and the collection proceeds will go to Lincoln's linked Diocese of Tirunelveli in South India.
We look forward to making you welcome on that day.
ANNUAL CYCLE RIDE
The annual Cycle Ride takes place on Saturday 13 September 2003. Both riders and tellers are required to man the bikes and the church. Contact Liz Murray to get sponsor forms etc.
'BREAKING BREAD'
Choir practice continues every Saturday at 10.30 am with Mike Boltz. Seem to be more sopranos than basses - now is your chance to brush up your vocal cords and make a note of the service day 19 October at 6.00 pm at Branston.
THE MIGHTY ORGANIST
On 22 September 2003, Mike Boltz, our organist, is playing the Cathedral organ. We are invited to Evensong at 5.15 pm and to hear him 'have a go' at the mighty organ at approximately 6.00 pm.
